Record Breaking A-Level Results.
Headteacher Tim Gilson said “This is an exceptional set of results even by our high standards. At every level this is the best set of A—Level results in Malmesbury School’s history; 71% A*-B and 41%A*/A. These results reflect the hard work and positive attitudes of our students and the skill, professionalism and dedication of our staff. At a time of enormous change and real constraints in education it is absolutely wonderful to celebrate this success. We look forward to hearing about what our students do next and keeping in touch with them over the next few years. In all a remarkable 24% of the year group achieved all A* & A grades. It is not all about A*and A grades, however, most other students achieved or exceeded their predicted grades and should feel very proud of their success in getting in to the university of their choice or into employment.”
Three students achieved 4 A* grades; Toby Chamberlain, Cameron Chisholm, William Whitehouse.
Six students achieved three 3A*grades – Sil Bonestroo 3A* 1A, Dan Booth 3A*, Hannah Brunskill 3A*, Grace Cook 3A*, Eleanor Gustard 3A*, Grace Long 3A*.
In addition to those students another 14 students achieved a clean sweep of A*/A grades – Charlie Barrell AA D*, Hamish Brady A*AA, Hannah Clegg A*A*A, William Holder A*A*A, Dominic Jones AAA, Charlie Klinkenberg A*A*A, Isobel McIntyre AAA, Cara, McMeekan A*AA, Mark Newell AAD*, Thomas Palmer AAA, Milly Pettit AAA, Jenna Saxby AAA, Brad Toseland, A*AA, Esther White A*A*A.
