Malmesbury School GCSE Results 2023

“We are so proud of our Year 11 cohort and the outcomes they have achieved. Given the backdrop of so much disruption to their education throughout the last 4 years, they have gained excellent results which will prepare them so well for their next steps.

Our high outcomes have continued this year with a very strong pass rate at both Grade 4 and Grade 5 plus. The number of students gaining a grade 4 in both English and Maths has remained high at an excellent 80%.

We are thrilled to welcome a huge number of Year 11 students back into our outstanding sixth form and wish all our students the very best of luck for their exciting next steps. All students should be very proud of the excellent progress they have made at Malmesbury School since arriving in Year 7.

I must end by recognising the huge dedication and effort of our staff, without whom these amazing results would not be possible. They work tirelessly to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive, and these results show what a consistently fantastic job they do in our Happy Caring and Excellent school”.

Malmesbury School A-Level Results 2023

“We are thrilled by the A-level exam results achieved by our students this year. They are a true reflection of the hard work and resilience the students have shown over a very disrupted period in education. We must not forget that this cohort has faced huge challenges over the last four years, and they approached their exams with an impressive focus and determination.

The proportion of A* and A grades awarded to Malmesbury Sixth Form students at A-level is the highest in the school’s history with 38% of all grades at the very highest level. In terms of progress, these results also maintain our excellent value added, with a brilliant 65% of grades awarded at A*-B.

We are so proud of our students and know that our entire school community have a part to play in these excellent results. I would like to pay a special tribute to our brilliant staff, who always go above and beyond for our students and these outcomes are testament to their hard work.

It is exciting that a large proportion of students have once again been accepted onto their first-choice courses at university, with students attending a variety of courses at top universities. I am proud that the hard work and success of all students in their time at our Happy, Caring and Excellent school will prepare them well for their next steps.”
