Whole-school reading strategy- NEW

The Tutor Reading Programme!

Last year we launched our tutor reading programme to year 7 and 8. This year it has spread across all year groups (including our sixth form!).

The programme provides students with the opportunity to read a minimum of two carefully selected, age-appropriate books each year.

For two mornings a week each tutor group collectively reads their book, with the tutor taking the lead as the reader. It is a great opportunity to read more, improve vocabulary and bond with fellow tutees.
