EMERGENCY CLOSURE PROCEDURES
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the above procedures.
| 0645 hrs | Notification of school closure will be passed to local radio for announcement (BBC Wiltshire Radio/ Heart Radio Wiltshire). |
| 0700 hrs | A message notifying the closure will be sent out through ‘School Comms’ and on this website – both messages will be updated at 15:00 with information for the following day. |
| 0800 hrs | A further message advising the status of events scheduled on that day (eg. Trips/Exams) will also be sent out through ‘School Comms’ and on this website, this message will be updated at 15:00. |
During periods of inclement weather, pupils are expected to wait for 30 minutes for their transport before abandoning their journey to school and returning home.
During exam periods the School will open, using local based staff, for students who are set to sit exams. They will need to bring in lunch as the canteen will not be open during these times. Exam students should come into school if it is safe to do so.
